Made it out of Missouri, through Iowa door about 5 miles, now in Lincoln Nebraska.

3 hours in - a far i'm finding this relaxing more than anything. First chance to eraally relax in months... We'll see how I feel after 16 hours tomorrow.

I R Dum

So I'm leaving Saint Louis for Seattle for the next few months... Anatomy dissections are done, special study project is arranged, so I have nothing that absolutely requires me to be in Saint Louis until graduation.

I R dum, however, because I'm doing this in 48 hours (aka I'm cheap and don't want to rent my car for a third day...). We'll see how it goes. The plan is to leave Saint Louis around 7, stop in Nebraska around midnight, then wake up early and drive to Boise for the next night's sleep, after which I'll just pop over the mountains to Seattle. There will be blog updates as I go.

Stated with Meredith's parents for my interview at Oregon - her old cat, punky, came by to inspect me - and I failed in my physician patient relationship, since I only realized later that I hadn't checked on the abscess I diagnosed on her back leg during my previous visit.

Bet you can't guess where I was interviewing on Saturday. Why does California have to have such good weather? It's seriously difficult to concentrate on how good programs are when there are distractors like sunshine and stuff....
