Places I've been and would like to never return to

Today's list is a tour of the Ranger camps.

Camp Rogers, southern GA

Key features: Hand to hand combat pit, Malvesti obstacle course.

Camp Merrill, northern GA

Notable features:  It was so cold I think my brain froze.

Camp Rudder, FL panhandle

Notable features:  Along the southern edge of the camp is a big reptile house where they have a whole collection of poisonous snakes to bring around during the snakes class.  Having a diamondback 10 inches from your face does wonders for your concentration, I must say.  There is allegedly a huge gator there too - don't remember if I saw him.  Also notable is the little store located in the middle, which had some unusual flavor of Haagen Dazs bar which I would die for, even today - sadly, I don't actually remember what flavor it was.  That damnable brain damage...
